The Riot
In 2019, Real Salt Lake's seven officially recognised supporter groups unified under a single banner: The Riot. With no dues or roster requirements, if you're a fan of RSL, you're already part of it.
The Riot exists to keep the support unified, the south end loud, and the displays ambitious. Seven groups, one coalition, same end. Members from each group sit on the Riot council and help guide overall direction.

Supporter Groups
The Groups
Each group has its own identity and section, united by a shared love for Real Salt Lake.
Salt City United
Founded in 2009 after years of building supporter culture from the ground up — sometimes in direct opposition to the front office. We wear all black, stand the entire match, and hold the south end every game, no exceptions. SCU is a crew before it's a supporter group. The people here are as loyal to each other as they are to Real Salt Lake.
Rogue Cavaliers Brigade
Real Salt Lake's oldest supporter group, with the team from the very beginning in 2005. An independent, inclusive, multi-ethnic group in the tradition of the great supporter clubs of Europe and South America.
Riot Brigade
Born in 2011 from a group of friends and families united by love for RSL. Known for epic tailgates and open, welcoming arms — whether you're a die-hard or a newcomer, there's a place for you in the Brigade.
Section 26
Established in 2006 and evolved into more than a supporter group — a diverse, inclusive family united by love for RSL. Known for the Annual Section 26 Homebrew Competition and Playoff Chili Cup, building community beyond the match.
La Barra Real
La primera barra hispana formada en la MLS. Founded in 2009, La Barra Real represents the vibrant Hispanic community's passion for Real Salt Lake, bringing alegría, amistad, and atmosphere to every match.
Los Caballeros Reales
A growing bilingual supporter group for Real Salt Lake and Utah Royals. United by a deep love for the beautiful game, strengthening soccer culture and building a welcoming environment for every walk of life.
Section 11
A group of misfit RSL supporters who love the club and stand in Section 11 on gamedays. Soccer is fun. Come support RSL with us. You'll find them in Section 11 — it's between Section 10 and Section 12.
Real Salt Lake
The club we support. Real Salt Lake competes in Major League Soccer, playing home matches at America First Field in Sandy, Utah.
